Bhindi or Lady Finger or Okra Recipe
Ingredients. 
1) Okra – 300 gms – cut vertically 
2) Onion – 3 medium size – sliced vertically 
3) Green chilly – 2 medium size – cut vertically 
4) 1 tsp Salt (as per taste) 
5) 1 tsp Turmeric powder 
6) 2 tsp Coriander powder 
7) 1/2 tsp Chat masala 
8) Mint leaves – 5 to 6 – cut into small pieces 
9) 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds powder ( saunf powder) 
10) 3 tbsp Cooking oil 
11) 1 tsp Red chili powder 
12) 1/2 tsp Mango powder (amchoor powder) 
Method: 
Preparation time 25-30 minutes. 
1) Pre heat Kadai and put the flame from low to medium. 
2) Add Oil. Once oil is heated, add Okra( bhindi), sauté for 2 minutes 
3) Add salt and again sauté for 2 minutes. 
4) Add onions and turmeric powder and afain sauté for 3 minutes. 
5) Add rest of all masalas and ,mix well. 
6) Cover the lid and let it cook on low flame for 15 minutes.(stir every 5 minutes) 
7) Okra is done. 
8) At this moment, if you feel okra is not done- sprinkle 1-2 tsp of water all over okra and cook with covered lid for another 2 minutes. 
9) okra( bhindi) is ready and garnish with mint leaves 
10) Masala Okra( bhindi) is ready to serve.
